We are delighted to present the English edition of the course "Interventional Ultrasound for Pathologists", which will take place on November 23 and 24, 2023 at the Sonostore of the GE Healthcare offices in Madrid.
Since 2017, we have taught this course in Spanish for pathologists from Spain and Latin America and we have created the English version for the rest of Europe and other non-Spanish-speaking countries.
The course has a teaching team with experience in ultrasound-guided procedures, including pioneering interventional pathologists in Spain in the implementation of puncture and ultrasound-guided biopsy performed by a pathologist. As Head of the Pathology Department at Hospital Universitario del Henares (Madrid) Dr. Santiago Nieto Llanos and I, as current Chair of the Interventional Pathology Working Group from SEAP (Spanish Society of Pathology), comprise the Medical Direction of this Course.
We have designed an intensive, face-to-face course that combines theoretical aspects and practical workshops with small groups that guarantees a personalized and successful learning experience. We will impart the necessary knowledge to learn ultrasound-guided puncture procedures for diagnosis, ultrasound fundamentals, Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS), and we will discuss clinical cases from our daily consultation.
We hope that the course program is of interest to you.
